Sourcing Quality and Operation professionals for a CDMO
Founded nearly 70 years ago, our client is a European leading contract manufacturing and development partner for the pharmaceutical, health and beauty industry. They function as an outsourced organisation to deliver flexible solutions from a development, production and distribution perspective to a client base of over 140 clients in 125 international markets.
They serve this client base, manufacturing over 1800 products utilising a network of 11 production sites in 5 European countries, 4 development centres and 3 distribution centres. In total, they employ circa 3200 people and generate approximately €500million in sales revenue.
With investment, growth and acquisition commonplace across the contract manufacturing sector, our client has recently undergone Private Equity investment, with their goal being to cultivate a more professional, sophisticated, central-led organisation and work towards an increase in site performance and wider EBITDA margins. This investment alongside a series of new hires at C level have driven a company re-structure and a move from a regional to a more commercial, product-oriented cluster approach.
Working directly under the instruction of the recently hired CEO and Group VP Operations, Chameleon have partnered with the company’s leadership team to deliver and execute the following searches;
- Site Business Unit Head (Sterile) France 200 FTE
- Site Business Unit Head, Netherlands, 200 FTE
- Site Business Unit Head, Greece, 180 FTE
- Global Director – Operations, Governance & Projects
- Quality Cluster Director – Solid Dose Products
- Quality Cluster Director – Sterile Products
- Site Quality Director, Greece
Chameleon have targeted those who can balance both a ‘best-in-class’ commercial and manufacturing leadership approach whilst deliberately challenging a pre-existing culture within a new PE backed SME environment.
With wholesale change impacting the business on many levels, the above mandates have been also been issued and delivered under special circumstance. Chameleon have made use of our extensive pharmaceutical and wider life science network to deliver quickly within expedited timeframes – a challenge we have been happy to accept.
